Iran documentary 'Paj' is set to premiere in conjunction with the commemoration of Iran prominent poet Ferdowsi.
Mohammad-Ali Sajjadi’s new doc is about the great Persian literary master Ferdowsi.
The name 'Paj' has been taken from a village name where Ferdowsi was born.
"The doc 'Paj' is in development, now going through the editing phase before getting ready to be shown May, 15, 2018 concurrent with the red-letter day of Ferdowsi," Sajjadi noted in talk with local media.
The late tenth- and early eleventh-century Persian poet has authored ‘Shahnameh’, one of the world's longest epics created by a single poet.
‘Shahnameh’ narrates the brave actions by some legendary Iranian heroes to secure the country deeply influenced by Iranian culture.
Dubbed 'the Savior of Persian Language', Ferdowsi is celebrated as one of the greatest literary figures in the world and the most significant one in Persian literature.
